COS can process incoming FSU-/FSA-messages received from Airlines or Handling Agents and it will automatically update AWB-/Routing-Records, such as Pcs., Gross Weight, Status Code, Flight No., Dep.&Arr.-Date, Dep.& Arr.-Time. Based on this automated function, COS is even capable to send out Uplift Info E-Mails to your clients for each AWB without even doing “one click”!
By using the so called “Mismatch-List” you are still in full control to allow or deny any update of your records.
In case data such as Airlines’ 2-letter-code, Flight number, Total nbr of Pcs, Gross Weight and/or Dep.-/Arr.-Date is different from the data you have in the AWB- & Routing-Table or the Dep.- and/or Arr.-Times of the flight varies more than 3 hours from the one we might already have in the Routing-Table, these particular differences will automatically “queue up” on the Mismatch-List.
You need to “clean” up that Mismatch-list continuesly. “Cleaning up” means, that you can decide either to allow the incoming data to update our existing bookings or to just skip (delete) the incoming updates.
Again, the aim is to “clean up” the Missmatch-list continuesly and to have it as empty as possible.
If you want to see a history overview in order doublecheck how and when which AWBs’ values have been updated, you can run the report called: “AWBs updated by messages”.
FULL AUTOMATED Sending-Out of Uplift Info-E-Mail-Messages
As already mentioned you can activate a full automated version of The FSU/FSA-Process, by which the system would send out Uplift Info-E-Mail-mssgs. to your clients autonomously. For that activation you need To contact Datacair-Support ZRH. The system sends out such Uplift Info-mssgs. only for those AWBs, where all existing values correspond with the values on the incoming FSU/FSA-mssgs., also provided the fact that the respective contact in each booking is selected and is poplulated with a proper e-mail-address.
In following cases the system will NOT send out such automated Uplift Info-E-Mail-mssgs.:
when the relevant Routing-leg already contains the “DEP”-code or a “later stage” code (such as f.e. “DLV” etc.)
